A: If your software was purchased within the past 2 years and you ordered download codes but have lost the codes, we may be able to resend your download codes. We recommend to everyone that you purchase download codes and save the codes to your computer as well as printing them to keep with your important records.

If your software is outdated but you still have it installed, you can check our free patches page to see if your software is eligible for a free patch. If you're able to use the free patch, there is no need for an upgrade because the patch makes your software the same as our current shipping version. If you've lost your software and did not order download codes or you just want a newer version of the software, you will need to purchase an upgrade. Please refer to our Upgrades page to check your version numbers against our shipping version. Upgrades are identical to new software except for the price. They can be installed on a new machine or on top of an old version of the program. If you have purchased an older version of one of our programs, you are eligible to buy an upgrade, and you can do so by calling our order line, or by ordering from the Upgrades section of our secure online order form. Please note: If you try to buy an upgrade when you haven't previously purchased the program, none of your order can be processed.
